Ioanna Myrka
CV
Ioanna Myrka was born and lives in Athens. She is an artist who has worked with various art forms, each time using the medium that serves her idea. She has created many video-based works with social and personal character as well as computer interactive works. She has attended seminars on the japanese dance «butoh» with Japanese tutors, she has directed performances and has paricipated in other artists’ performances. Her works are in the collection of Dakis Ioannou and in other private collections. She holds a Masters degree in Digital Arts and a BA in Sculpture (under G. Lappas) from the Athens School of Fine Arts. She has also studied Graphic design at the Vakalo College and fashion design at the Veloudaki College in Greece. She has been awarded prizes and has exhibited in solo and group shows in Greece, Italy, Germany, Ukraine, the Netherlands, Slovenia, Serbia and New York.
Since 2005, he has been attending seminars on the Japanese ritual dance butoh with Japanese teachers.
In 1990, he was awarded the 3rd prize of Textilia for clothing design
In 2009, he was awarded the 2nd prize at the Emotion Pictures – Amea Media International Festival.
Since 2016, he has been collaborating with the group TetArtimorio in solo and group exhibitions

Βιογραφικό
Η Ιωάννα Μύρκα γεννήθηκε και ζει στην Αθήνα. Είναι καλλιτέχνης και έχει δουλέψει με πολλές μορφές τέχνης χρησιμοποιώντας κάθε φορά το μέσον που εξυπηρετεί την ιδέα της. Έχει πραγματοποιήσει πολλα έργα βίντεο με κοινωνικό και προσωπικό χαρακτήρα και έργα διαδραστηκά μέσω υπολογιστή. Έχει παρακολουθήσει σεμινάρια ιαπωνικού χορού butoh με Ιάπωνες δασκάλους, έχει σκηνοθετήσει performance και έχει συμμετάσχει σε performance άλλων καλλιτεχνών. Έργα της ανήκουν στη συλλογή του Δάκη Iωάννου και σε άλλες ιδιωτικές συλλογές. Έχει μεταπτυχιακό τίτλο σπουδών στις Ψηφιακές Μορφές Τέχνης και πτυχίο Γλυπτικής (καθηγ. Γιώργος Λάππας) από τη Σχολή Καλών Τεχνών της Αθήνας και έχει σπουδάσει γραφιστική στη σχολή Βακαλό καί σχέδιο μόδας στη σχολή Βελουδάκη. Έχει βραβευτεί και έχει παρουσιάσει το έργο της σε ατομικές και ομαδικές εκθέσεις στην Ελλάδα, Ιταλία, Γερμανία, Ουκρανία, Ολλανδία, Σλοβενία, Σερβία και Νέα Υόρκη.

Από το 2005 παρακολουθεί σεμινάρια τελετουργικού ιαπωνικού χωρού butoh με ιάπωνες δασκάλους .
Το 1990 βραβεύτηκε με το 3ο βραβείο της Τεξτιλια για σχεδιασμό ρούχου
Το 2009 βραβεύτηκε με το 2ο βραβείο στο Emotion Pictures – Amea Media Inernational Festival.
Από το 2016 συνεργάζεται με την ομάδα ΤετΑρτιμόριο σε ατομικές και ομαδικές εκθέσεις
